Solar thermal system installation for existing hot water cylinder with MCS certificate for RHI payment.
This house already had a 500 litres thermal store installed. During the heating season it was heated with a back boiler, but from spring to autumn the built-in 2x3kW immersion heaters were operating. After the installation the immersion heaters were switched off.
As a backup heat source a 100 litres electric heater has been installed on the attic.
